The product represents all systems and components that maintain SSL certificates distributed by Namecheap and Spaceship. We are constantly working on improvements to services that handle the certificates' life cycle. This includes both supporting and refactoring the legacy code, finding approaches to use the latest technologies for the new features, such as two-click SSL installation, and also creating new microservices from scratch. We also maintain internal and external API interconnection and work to extend its functionality. Building the backend, as well as the front-end components of the system to simplify the certificate management, is our way to continuously improve the user experience with the SSL product.

The Payments team is responsible for various processes within the company such as processing payments using credit cards, PayPal, and bitcoins, fighting frauds using an in-house ML system, processing orders, owning a site search system, widget-based applications, etc.
Services and related infrastructure are hosted on AWS The team operates in the fully full-stack range including .NET microservices, micro-frontends on React and infrastructure as code on Terraform.
